
Hello Dearies, I hope you are all having a great day! I know we are all getting ready for Thanksgiving and are pretty much stressing!!! I’m sure we will all make it through pretty much unscathed. To all my DIYers I know you already planned what you’re going to sew for this long holiday weekend, but you may also want to add this vest to your list!
Now on to this awesome vest/coat by McCall Pattern Company (M7333). I Cut a size XL. I absolutely love this pattern because it’s versatile and can be made many different ways with different fabric choice. This pattern does not call for any lining (it’s catagorized as a blouse jacket) but to make it a cozy fall coat I fully lined this vest with sweater fleece I found at Joann’s. The vest itself is made with an Aztec Jacquard fabric I also found at Joann’s. They may still have this fabric available and it also comes in different color ways. More pics below.
